Hand painted fabric stamped with real leaves; Fallen brings the richness of autumn into your home all year long.

Details –

The art quilt background of Fallen is hand painted 100% cotton fabric. Real leaves were stamped in dark blue, rusty brown and green textile paint. Along with the leaves there are stamped line and painted dot details. The top was layered with cotton batting and cotton fabric backing and then free-motion quilted; the quilting design represents floating and twirling leaves as they fall to the ground.

The quilt was adhered to a board that was built to float off the wall approximately 3/4”; it has felt covered slats to protect the wall. Holes were marked and drilled through the quilt and backboard.

The photograph was applied to an acrylic sheet, holes were drilled, spacers and other hardware attached and the photograph was mounted 3/4” above the art quilt. The back is wired for hanging and is signed.

Fallen is approximately 22 3/4” x 20 1/2”. Photograph was taken by @CameronScottPhotography.

I recommend the piece be displayed away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
