Leaf with it's almost human form is uncomplicated. It will be as much at home in an elegant room as it would in a casual space.

The art quilt under the leaf photograph is made of hand painted fabric that has been heavily free-motion quilted. It echoes the shape and lines of leaf in the photograph.

The quilt was adhered to a board that was built to float off the wall approximately 3/4”; it has felt covered slats to protect the wall. Holes were marked and drilled through the quilt and backboard.

The photograph was applied to an acrylic sheet, holes were drilled, spacers and other hardware attached and the photograph was mounted 3/4” above the art quilt. The back is wired for hanging and is signed.

I recommend the piece be displayed away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
