Near the Lake is a painting and an art quilt and would make a beautiful addition to your home or a gift for someone you know. It is a companion piece to Value Study Scape; a black to white art quilt made using my same original pattern (also available in my shop, if not already sold).

Details –

I have a passion for making miniature fabric landscape art quilts and for years I taught classes on how to make them. The sky and water in Near the Lake are my hand painted fabric; the other elements and borders are commercial fabric. The piece is hand appliqued and hand quilted.

Near the Lake is approximately 29” x 21 1/4”. It has a hanging sleeve and slat. Two finishing nails are included and may be used for hanging. The piece also has a signed label on the back. Link to my short video - How to hang an art quilt.

I recommend the piece be displayed away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

When possible, items are shipped in recycled boxes.
