Osprey Fly By is an original art quilt for the beach lover, bird lover, and anyone who appreciates one-of-a-kind textile art.

Details –

Osprey Fly By is a hand painted wholecoth - Where the ocean meets the sandy beach. Three painted cheesecloth feathers rest on another pieces of hand painted fabric, framed by the foamy water’s edge and sand. Heavily free-motion quilted to add movement and texture to the piece. Notice a few shells and a sea star in the quilting. The hand painted binding carries the water and sand out to the edge. The feathers have intentionally frayed and free edges, so may appear slightly different than the images.

Osprey Fly By is approximately 17 1/4" x 23". It has a hanging sleeve and a slat. Two finishing nails are included and may be used for hanging. The piece also has a signed label on the back. Link to my short video - How to hang an art quilt.

I recommend the piece be displayed away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
