The Poinsettia quilt top is hand painted on 100% cotton fabric. It is layered with batting and backing fabric, and then free-motion quilted. Coiled fabric beads make up the flowers and are held on with embroidered French knots. The raw edge layers are finished with decorative embroidered stitches. Hanging by a curved length of grape vine, Poinsettia is 12” x 15” and the quilt without the hanger is 10 3/4” x 12 3/4”. It is signed on the back. Because of the natural shape of the grape vine the piece may look best if hung slightly away from the wall; for example; on a knob or hook or nail, away from the wall.

I recommend the piece be displayed away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
