Gel print play
I took a few minutes to mess around with my the Gelli Arts gel printing plate and here are some of the results. I think it will be fun to use them in some small fiber collage pieces, I’ll post them when I do.
Drift and Flow
I haven’t added this art quilt to my website quilt gallery yet. It has the most machine quilting I have ever done on one piece and it was quilted on my home machine before I bought my HQ Sweet Sixteen!
The distraction…
So I’m trying to focus on the yard work when I see these rusty old axe heads and now I just want to toss some fabric on them and rust dye…maybe another day.

Visions Art Musuem
Another hand painted whole cloth (12″x 12″). I’ve never seriously tried to paint hands before but I was pretty pleased with these. This piece is on display at Visions Art Museum as part of the “Text and Texting” member challenge. It and many other pieces are for sale at VAM.
Garden Bed published…
The June/July issue of Quilting Arts magazine published the finalist quilts from their Reader Challenge “Sketch to Art Quilt” and I’m happy to say my little quilt is one of them!
